2003 Reunion

Thanks to all of those who contributed time and energy to make this reunion a success. Special thanks to August for pulling everything together. Everyone that attended should be thanked for contributing to the uniqueness and diversity of this reunion.

Planning is a key element to the success of any large meeting. But how do you really plan for the weather or the actions of children? A quirky moment occurred just after the program as everyone was gathering outside for a group photo. Oblivious to the fact that there was a severe thunderstorm warning issued for the area, we all continued to faithfully gather next to the old church. As the swirling dark clouds came closer and as the wind became stronger, we continued with our photo opportunity...that moment captured forever in everyone's cameras. Why spend time on your hair when mother nature can give you a brand new look just before pictures are taken! Another strange moment occurred when a little guy found an old metal nut somewhere and decided that it would look cool as a ring. Yeah, it did look really cool, the problem being that it wouldn't come off! After about an hour of hack sawing, the child and finger were surprisingly still attached but that cool "ring" didn't fair so well.
